Welcome to the FASSV PTA website

The PTA website is helpful source of information regarding the PTA and an easy way to stay in touch with what is going on at the school. New information is posted regularly to provide you with up-to-date details about all of the happenings at the school.

All parents are strongly encouraged and invited to participate in the FASSV-PTA’s activities. Your involvement in your child’s school does make a difference both for your children and the school community.

Suggested Pricing for Rummage Sale Items

Clothes

Baby Clothes
Suggested price: $1 to $3 for gently used baby clothes, 25 to 50 cents for well worn clothes. Name brand items with original tags can be priced higher.
Display idea: Display baby clothes folded on tables. If you have a bunch to get rid of, sell them by the lot in bags for $5.

Adult Clothes
Suggested price: $3 to $5, unless the item still has the original tags — those can go for more.

Shoes
Suggested price: $5 to $7
Display idea: Remove scuff marks and worn areas, and then line up matching pairs on a table.

Coats
Suggested price: $10 to $15
Display idea: Wash and display on hangers with extra buttons, if you still have them.

Jewelry
Suggested price: 50 cents to $2
Display idea: Consider having valuable jewelry pieces appraised first. Wrap a piece of cardboard with fabric and pin coordinating pieces together.

Entertainment items

Books
Suggested price: $1 for hard covers, 25 to 50 cents for paperbacks

DVDs, CDs, Cassettes
Suggested price: $3 to $5 each for DVDs and CDs; $1 each for cassette tapes

Records
Suggested price: $2
Display idea:  Display albums you include in your sale in a box with a unit price — there’s no need to label each individual sleeve!

Electronics/computer equipment
Suggested price: No more than one third of the retail price for used items, or price new items with original packaging at half the original cost
Display idea: Keep parts and cords bundled together in clear plastic bags and run an extension cord so customers can test the item.

Toys and games
Suggested price: $1 to $3 each
